I can’t believe it is almost July! Like where has this year gone?! For me summer is synonymous with two things, the beach and 4th of July. Independence Day is such a great holiday to spend with family and friends outside while enjoying yummy cheeseburgers and cold beers.
Whether you are viewing fireworks or at picnics, it a great excuse to break out all your red, white, and blue. I put together three looks the range from lounging around to sitting by the pool. Have fun with your outfit! Grab a fun graphic tee (I love going to Target for these!) to show your patriotism or go for subtle prints on a dress.
Look 1:
This simple swing dress is great for my personal style. I am not the biggest fan of wearing true red so this color combination is perfect. I also really like how causal and easy this dress is to wear, especially if you live somewhere hot. The best part of this outfit is that it doesn’t scream 4th of July outfit, so you can wear it all summer long.
Look 2:
This is definitely a pool look! Underneath this simple white dress is a blue one piece that is seriously the most comfortable bathing suit (love this one from Target)! I tend to wear dresses that are too short for my long legs as cover-ups so I can go from the beach or pool straight to lunch.
Look 3:
I only managed to get one picture of this outfit because I may have gotten a little distracted by my dog! This is a sporty and simple plain white tee and some fun star printed shorts from Old Navy. Best part is, you don’t even have to work out while wearing it.
