In my opinion clothes always look amazing against a beautiful background with good photography, but the true test is how the outfit looks at home. Who else still likes to play dress up? I do! I love taking the time to try on different outfits when preparing for a certain event. Valentine’s Day is one night that is always fun to style. After looking at Kim Kardashian’s fitting pictures on Instagram, I thought it would be a great way to put together a lookbook of different looks. Whether you are going on a date with your friends or your significant other, these looks are sure to make you feel like your baddest self.
Pretty in Pink
I love this look. It is so simple and the pops of red and pink make it perfect for Valentine’s Day. You could easily dress this look down with a pair of flats or even white trainers and a white tee instead of a sweater.
Casual T-Shirt Dress
Ah I am obsessed with this dress. I wear it anytime I want to be comfortable but a little fancy at the same time. With over-the-knee boots, it makes a plain t-shirt dress a little more special. Plus over-the-knee boots make your legs look a little bit sexy.
Leather and Knit
This is the perfect girls date night outfit. It is comfy, cool, and can easily handle whatever the night might throw at you. It is also perfect for colder weather because everything is nice and covered. I chose to wear a pair of heels but if you want to go for comfort, grab a pair of chunky trainers.
Traditional Red Satin
When you think of Valentine’s Day the first color you think of is red. I don’t really like to wear red but this skirt is so gorgeous I have to make an exception. Satin skirts/dresses are a huge trend this season and my favorite way of making it seasonably appropriate is to add a chunky knit on top.
A Little Lace
I love all the looks but this is probably my favorite. This lace top is to die for. It looks amazing with a pair or black jeans and is a great piece to wear into the spring. This lace top is seriously beautiful and a little sexy too.
