Hello beautiful people!
This is probably one of the most exciting posts I’ve ever written, because my dreams finally came true and I got to go to Paris! I know it sounds silly but visiting Paris has been my dream place to visit since I was little. When I was deciding to move to Poland, one of the positives was actually being able to hopefully travel around all of Europe, but especially Paris, much easier and cheaper. But enough of me freaking out, on to my travel dairy!
AirBnB and Sacre-Coeur
We decided to stay in the cutest and legit tiniest apartment I have ever been in! IT was perfect for a “home base” because of the AMAZING location! It was steps from the Sacre-Coeur Cathedral which sits on the highest point Paris, giving us breathtaking views.
Eiffel Tower
Did you even go to Paris if you didn’t stop at the Eiffel Tower?! The tower itself was much bigger than I thought it would be and definitely enjoyed the view from Trocadéro. WE of course took pictures, ate some ice cream, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and explored some of the side streets.
Notre Dame
This is one of my favorite places we saw! It was absolutely breathtaking from the inside out. The gothic architecture and meticulous details was inspiring.
Louvre, Arc de Triumphe, Musee d’Orsey
Considering myself a novice artist, the Louvre and Musee d’Orsey were an absolute must! The Louvre was not only ginormous (yes we did get lost for about 20 minutes) but full of art that was so old it was kind of hard to comprehend. Seeing the Mona Lisa was of course on our list an it was worth it! The Louvre however did not have a lot art that personally inspires me. The Musee d’Orsey on the other hand was full of Monet (my favorite artist), Impressionist, and Post-Impressionist art.
Overall, the trip was amazing and now I can’t wait to explore another city!
